Data collection start – Objective 3

On June 3^rd, the embarks on board the fishing tuna vessels begun.

Madeira Whale Museum observers went on board the tuna fishing vessels “Pesca Atum” and “Progresso Futuro”, with the purpose of collecting data in order to determine the cetaceans’ conservation status, and to access the human activities impact in the Madeira EEZ offshore waters.
